Welcome to our Dry Eye Suite

Dry Eye Evaluation

We do a thorough ocular surface evaluation with imaging, meibography, Inflammadry and Omega -3 testing, when indicated.  The treatment prescribed is unique to each patient. Our optometrists can diagnose and treat dry eye syndrome using a variety of methods, including prescription eye drops, punctal plugs, lifestyle changes and many in-office treatments.

Lid Hygiene Treatments

ZEST

Exfoliate & Clean- ZEST stands for Zocular Eyelid System Technology. This exciting in-office treatment has been developed by Zocular and designed specifically for the treatment of dry eye, demodex, and blepharitis.

RINSADA

Rinsada uses high pressure saline underneath the eyelid and in the deep recess called the fornix where normal rinsing can't reach.  This removes pollutants and irritating allergens causing inflammation.

NuLids

NuLids provides relief for dry, red, itchy, swollen eyes by targeting the meibomian glands in the eyelids.

In-Office Treatments

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and RF (Radio Frequency) technology simultaneously reduce ocular inflammation and improve oil gland secretion providing a fast, effective treatment for dry eye. The energy can be adjusted for every patient's unique skin type and dry eye severity level.

LLLT= Low Level Light Therapy

LLLT has been proven effective at treating many eye issues. LLLT uses specially designed LED lights to gently warm up the eyelids, causing the meibomian glands to unclog and release oils needed to keep eyes healthy, moisturized, and comfortable.

TEARCARE

Is an application of localized heat therapy for evaporative dry eye disease due to meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), it includes manual expression of the meibomian glands.

PUNCTAL PLUGS

Punctal plugs are tiny devices that are placed in the tear ducts (called puncta). Puncta are the tiny openings in your eyelids that drain tears from your eyes. The plug blocks tears from draining from the eye. This helps keep the eye’s surface moist and comfortable.
